Package Curves for Diesel-Driven Pumps

Today's engine emissions regulations have created new challenges for pump operators, and Pioneer Pump®, a Franklin Electric brand, has created the solution: package curves. These new, more specialized performance curves are designed specifically to help you size the right engine for your pump in a way that reduces uncertainty and extends product life. And, you don't have to be a Final Tier IV or Stage V expert to understand them.

In this 20-minute webinar, Franklin Electric Product Specialist, Toby Wilson, will take you through the differences between traditional pump curves and package curves. You will see how traditional pump curves illustrate the performance range of the pump end regardless of the engine or motor powering it, while package curves add a new dimension. Using a simple color-coded overlay on the pump curve, this new dimension is engine-specific, showing you where to operate to achieve optimal performance.

At the end of this session, you'll have a clear understanding of how package curves provide a fast and reliable way for owners and end-users to operate pump packages within the optimal zone — ensuring longer life, reduced maintenance costs, and lower cost of ownership.

During this webinar you will learn:

  • The difference between traditional pump curves and package curves
  • How to read and understand package curves
  • The value package curves bring for owners and end-users to properly size the right engine for your pump, reducing uncertainty and extending product life
